Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PUB (“Pick Your Ball”, “PUB”, “we”, “us”), operated by Athleticore Innovation Private Limited (CIN U70200HR2024PTC126906), including our website at pickyourball.com and our mobile applications on Google Play and the Apple App Store (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, registering for a tournament or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

PUB is a platform for pickleball players and tournament organisers. Organisers use PUB to publish tournaments and divisions, take registrations and entry fees, run draws, schedules and scoring, and share results. Players use PUB to find tournaments, register (alone or with a partner), pay entry fees and follow live standings.

PUB is a platform. A tournament may be organised by Athleticore Innovation Private Limited or by anyone else. Unless a tournament page says otherwise, each tournament is run by its listed organiser. The organiser is responsible for the venue, the schedule, the conduct of play, the tournament rules, refunds and decisions on the day.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google Sign-In. Keep access to your email account secure; anyone who can read your codes can use your PUB account.
  • Give accurate profile details (name, date of birth, gender, city). Divisions can be limited by age, gender or rating, and wrong details can make your registration invalid.
  • One person, one account. Do not register on behalf of someone else without their permission, except when adding a partner as part of your own team entry.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. Registrations

  • A registration is confirmed only when the entry fee (if any) has been paid and the registration passes the division's requirements. Until then it is shown as awaiting payment or pending, and your place is not reserved.
  • Some divisions require a connected DUPR account or a DUPR rating within a range. If you or your partner have not connected DUPR, the entry may stay pending and you may be left out of the draw.
  • When you add a partner, you confirm that they have agreed to play with you and to these Terms. Partners who are not yet on PUB are invited by email.
  • Organisers may decline or remove a registration that does not meet the division requirements or these Terms. Any refund in that case follows the refund terms set by that tournament’s organiser.

4. Fees and payments

  • Entry fees are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) on each division, taxes as applicable.
  • Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay; we receive confirmation of the payment and a transaction reference, not your full payment details.
  • One payment can cover several divisions in the same tournament. The amount charged is calculated by our server from the fees set by the organiser, including any early-bird price that applies on the day you pay.
  • Athleticore Innovation Private Limited collects entry fees through PUB on behalf of the organiser.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow the refund terms set by that tournament’s organiser.

5. Playing in tournaments

You agree to follow the tournament rules set by the organiser, the instructions of the organiser and venue staff, and the decisions of referees or the tournament desk. Pickleball is a physical sport. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for being fit to play. Tell the organiser about any medical condition that could affect your safety.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service: no false registrations, impersonation, scraping, attempts to break or overload the Service, or attempts to access data or tools you are not authorised to use.
  • Do not harass other players, organisers or staff, on or off court.
  • Organisers must publish accurate event details (dates, venue, fees, formats) and must use registrant information only to run their tournament.

7. Content, results and ratings

Organisers may upload posters, logos and other content and are responsible for having the right to use it. Your name, team, seeding and match results may be shown publicly in tournament listings and standings, and results from DUPR-rated divisions may be submitted to DUPR. 8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PUB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries, loss or damage at venues or arising from play, which are the responsibility of the organiser and venue as applicable. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the entry fees you paid through PUB for the tournament concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.

11. Grievance officer

If you have a complaint about the Service, contact our grievance officer, A Chakravarthy Thalluri, at abhinay@pickyourball.com or +91 95997 76805. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
